What was broken

A family losing someone faces administrative, legal, financial and memorial decisions at once, usually with no central record of the person's wishes, assets, digital accounts or key contacts. For anyone wanting to plan ahead, nothing existed for the Indian market that combined Aadhaar identity compliance, a payment lifecycle that works here, and a design that treats the subject with the seriousness it needs. The result was families dealing with the most administrative period of their lives at the least capable moment.

What was built

A guided digital companion covering both sides of the problem — someone planning their own legacy, and a family managing the affairs of someone who has died. The customer experience walks step by step through trusted contacts, physical assets, digital accounts, outstanding liabilities and final wishes, with encrypted per-user data isolation enforced by Firebase security rules rather than by application code. Identity is verified through an Aadhaar workflow with admin review and an audit trail. Razorpay handles the full payment lifecycle including coupon validation, signature verification and webhook processing, with audit-grade records kept. Behind it, a nine-module admin portal runs the whole operation, and twelve-plus Cloud Functions carry the API and webhook handling.
