The service centre ran on paper job cards, a physical token queue and manual billing. Service history went missing between visits. Technicians sat idle because task assignment was unclear. Invoices prepared by hand produced billing disputes at handover. And management had no visibility at all into daily throughput or how parts were actually being consumed — the numbers only appeared at month end, by which point nothing could be done about them.
One system covering every stage of a service visit, in the order the workshop actually works. Customer intake captures KYC and pre-service condition photographs to S3, a digital token queue replaces the physical one with priority handling for appointments, and job cards carry the complaint, service classification and estimated completion. Technicians are assigned per job with live status visible across all bays, and they record work done, parts consumed and additional findings from their own interface. Parts deplete from inventory as the job card is executed rather than in a separate stock entry afterwards. Invoicing pulls parts, labour and VAS lines into the certified dealer format with GST computed, and the visit closes through digital acknowledgement and gate pass. Six role profiles cover the real staff structure.
